Thanksgiving!

November 13th: I am thankful for Virginia Tech. I love my school so, so much and I honestly can't see myself anywhere else. It's so perfect and I am so happy with the choices I have made there and the wonderful people that I have found and loved.

November 14th: I am thankful to have been given the opportunity to work with Mrs. McGuigan's class again this year through XDA. She is the SWEETEST teacher ever and makes it known how appreciative she is of Ashley and me. I have learned so much about the elementary school life through her and she has definitely helped me figure out why I want to work in an elementary school.

November 15th: I am thankful for the chance to be productive. I got a lot of work done on this day & I am so happy I don't have to do it while I am home with my family.

November 16th: This day was really rocky. I was stuck in traffic and my cat made the ride home so miserable. He peed and pooped in his crate while I was driving so I had to stop twice to clean up his mess. I was so stressed because he was so uncomfortable and he sounded like he was dying (but really). I was crying pretty much the whole way home and venting to my cat about life (I don't even care if I'm being judged). I am thankful for tears because sometimes all you really need is a good cry. I felt a million times better after I sobbed my way through the trip & I found peace with all the things that had been stressing me out over the past month.

November 17th: I am thankful for my Mom. Oh my gosh, she is just the best. We had such a fun girls day yesterday and it feels so good to be back in Fredericksburg. It was nice just to sit and talk about everything face to face. I don't know what I would do without her or my Dad.

November 18th: Today I am going over to the Chiesa's and I am so excited. They are my second family and I am so thankful for days like today where we just go over there and eat and watch football together. Mr. & Mrs. Chiesa (Mr. Dan's parents) are there too for the holidays and they are just such good company to be around. I am so ecstatic; I love them all so so so so much.
